Hayli Manning, Opinion Editor

Passionate about science and social justice, Hayli Manning found her place as the opinion editor of The Holbrook Hub in the fall of 2017. Hayli is an active member of her community, serving as a National Honor Society member and a student council representative. She has participated in theater in Holbrook since 5th grade and more recently began playing in a handbell choir through her church. With a strong interest in biology, Hayli has decided to pursue a career in STEM, which will set her up to be the first in her family to earn a college degree. Hayli is also a member of The 84 Movement’s Statewide Leadership Team, in which she works to fight the tobacco industry. On a more local note, Hayli has worked at Maria’s – a town favorite – for the past two years, taking orders and making pizzas!
