During the Elite 8 game, the Bulldogs went up against the Mount Greylock Mounties. At the times, the Bulldogs were ranked #14 and the Mounties were #22, so this game seemed to be no match for Holbrook. That was no exception, as they won 75 to 60. This victory will bring their current record to 19-4.

With the loss of 6-man Jalik Fernandes, Cameron Campbell rose to the occasion. Not only can he make his layups, but his rebound ability came into clutch this game. The usual starters in Armani Perkins, Allen Brown JR, Malachi Desire, Owen Burke, and Marquis Dobay-Lindsay played an amazing game as well.

The last time the Bulldogs advanced anywhere close to the Elite 8 was several years ago, so they’re truly defying all the odds. With most of the team also graduating this year, this victory would be crucial for the Bulldogs if they want to leave their mark as they advance to the Final 4.

The Bulldogs’ next game will be on March 14th against David Prouty at 7 PM. But we’ll also keep you updated on any further information on our Instagram (@CodeBlueHMHS). Be sure to pop out at the game to possibly see if the Bulldogs will move further into the MIAA tournament.
