The Bulldogs held their annual Richard Monteith Tip-Off basketball game, and both teams absolutely dominated the competition.

The Mr. Monteith Tip-Off Classic is a Holbrook tradition, commemorating the tragic death of Richard Monteith, a former teacher at Holbrook. To learn more, be sure to check out Derek Fox’s segment that remembers Monteith’s legacy: https://codebluehmhs.org/8206/news/remembering-mr-monteith/.

Both teams played against the SSCA Warriors, and they dominated both games, both teams leading the entire game.

The boys especially didn’t hold back during this game. Not only was it the Monteith Tip-Off, but it was also the game where senior and captain Owen Burke was able to reach his ultimate goal of 1,000 points in his basketball career.
