Holbrook’s varsity volleyball team entered the tournament with high hopes, matched up in their first round game against Westport. Playing a best of five sets match, unfortunately they only won two.

The girls had a lead in the first two sets, but sadly Westport began to make a comeback. The girls did not give up without putting up a strong fight. The ambitious girls went into the game eager to bring home that win!

Although it was a tough loss for the team, they put in great effort.

Freshman starter Kerry Walker described the loss. “Even though we lost, we tried to have positive attitudes the whole time, and fight throughout the whole thing.”
