Metal industry giant and fan favorite Metallica recently announced its 2023-2024 world tour, which includes Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Bands confirmed to be going on tour with them are MammothWVH, Ice Nine Kills, and Five Finger Death Punch. As the band continues to age and has been around since 1981, this could potentially be one of their last showings. The band has gained a massive following of young people since the featuring of their hit song “Master of Puppets”, on Season 4 of Stranger Things, Netflix’s most viewed show of all time. The dates announced for Gillette are Friday, August 2nd and Sunday, August 4th, 2024. Two-day tickets for the show will be available via https://www.ticketmaster.com/, and will be available to the general public starting Friday, December 2nd, and one-day tickets January 20th, 2023. The tour starts in Amsterdam, Netherlands on April 14th, 2023, after their newest studio album “72 Seasons” releases for the general public.

A percentage of all ticket sales for their concerts go towards the All Within My Hands Foundation, Metallica’s nonprofit organization that gives back by teaching workforce education, fighting hunger, and combating natural disasters through various partners. Through their Metallica Scholars program, they have provided workforce development to 32 schools in 27 states as of 2022. Other programs they are affiliated with are Direct Relief and Feeding America which give millions of dollars towards humanitarian aid and fighting hunger.
