Ways to Reduce your Chances of Contracting Coronavirus

With school buildings closed for the year, we are all aware of the impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on our lives.  Nowadays, news broadcasts speak about it more often than sports! But if you’re unaware of this pandemic, it’s a crisis that involves a contagious virus, which causes an illness known as COVID 19. It spreads quickly through our eyes, mouth, and nose. 

News stories are filled with stories about how this virus has impacted the world around us, including multiple countries around the world being on lockdown. 

Common symptoms of coronavirus are fever, tiredness, and dry cough, which is a cough that doesn’t bring up mucus.  

The following will display a few ways that will reduce your chances of contracting this virus. 

According to the World Health Organization, they state that you should stay in your house as much as possible, social distancing at least 6 feet apart, wash your hands often with soap and water, cover your mouth when coughing, refrain from touching your face, and if you’re experiencing symptoms, call ahead, it’s never too late.  

Following these procedures can reduce the spread of this virus, and potentially save lives. Stay safe!
