Holbrook Middle-High School students have recently wrapped up an amusing spirit week. Middle schoolers especially enjoyed the little break from school-work.

In addition to it being spirit week, Monday was Map Monday, students dressed up as part of their heritage. Tie-dye Tuesday, consisted of wearing colorful tie-dye clothing. Ugly Sweater Wednesday was filled with Xmas themed sweaters. Class Colored Thursday was when each grade was assigned various colors. Then finally Friday, a day before Christmas break, students got the opportunity to dress up in their pajamas.

Similar to the half-day schedule, every 30 minutes, students would rotate to different classrooms, each with a different activity. Some games included bingo, Kahoot, and heads up. After all the activities have finished, the middle schoolers piled into the auditorium to watch one of Dr. Seuss’s greatest hits, The Grinch.

Molly Lydon, an 8th grader at HMHS said her favorite activity was playing Heads Up with her classmates.
