After a solid win at Diman to open the season, the Bulldogs pushed ahead to their home opener against the East Bridgewater Vikings. Seniors Zach Duzan, Ahmad Paul and Marcus Spencer provided solid veteran presence on the court, while Freshman Duane Thompson, who had 31 points against Diman, continued to play well. The Bulldogs got it going early, as by half time they led 31-26. Thompson had 6 points, Duzan had 2 steals and freshman Owen Burke had 3 consecutive 3 pointers entering halftime. The game tightened up in the second half, as the Vikings tied the game at 46 heading into the 4th quarter. The final 2 minutes were a back and forth affair. At this point the Bulldogs were leading 56-53. The game came down to the last play. With 1.3 seconds left, the Vikings threw up the ball with a prayer, and it was answered. They miraculously won the game 57-56 with a buzzer beater that left the gymnasium in a state of shock. What was a great game played by all, became a heartbreaker for the bulldogs.

As of today the Bulldogs are 2-4 overall but are undefeated in their league.
