The production rate-to-demand ratio for the PS5 is far off, even to the point where if you wanted to currently buy one on Amazon, you would have to place a request to be put on a waiting list, just to be able to purchase it. The easiest place to buy a PS5 now is through the direct Sony website.

Hopefully, in the near future, the PS5 will become more easily accessible and the prices will become more reasonable from resellers.
