For the first time since the pandemic, the Holbrook/Avon football team had their annual homecoming game against Saint John Paul II. Despite being a close game the Bulldogs lost the game 24-22.

Although the Bulldogs lost it was still a very exciting game with touchdowns made by juniors Thomas Irby, Kenny Jean-Michael and senior Marquis Dobay-Lindsay who also scored two two-point conversions for the Bulldogs.

There were great defensive plays from junior Jordan Cioffi and senior Sam Hobart. Junior quarterback Chuck Luarasi threw for many yards, helping the Bulldogs achieve their touchdowns. Senior captain Justin Jerome had a phenomenal game with several tackles and sacks.

With a record of 3-3, the Bulldogs next game is next Friday at Bourne High School. Good luck to the Bulldogs!
