In the spirit of Black History Month, CBN reporter Vincent Tran took some time to speak with some women of the black community to talk about the importance of hair in black culture. The women explain that hair is a very important connection to their roots, with hairstyles such as braids being important to African culture and traditions. They also urged that people should educate themselves on different hairstyles to avoid both damaging their hair and cultural appropriation.
