Holbrook’s Tax Deadline Postponed Till June 1st

The Covid-19 outbreak has disrupted the usual flow of Holbrook pushing back the town elections and the requirement to wear face masks in public. Along with this, the tax deadline for Holbrook has also been extended. Niall Horgan interviewed Daniel Lee, Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, in order to speak on the changes that have taken place regarding Holbrook taxes. Because of the increase in unemployment, the Board of Selectmen decided to extend the deadline for taxes in Holbrook from May 1st to June 1st. Lee states the Board of Selectman made this decision to “ease the burden of the taxpayers.” Watch the segment for more info on this subject.
