Jeremiah King reached a milestone that many high school basketball athletes dream of accomplishing: he scored his one-thousandth career point, a milestone that requires a lot of hard work and perseverance. When asked about his wonderful accomplishment, Jeremiah King recounts the moment saying, “It was a memorable shot, plus being with my teammate and everybody around me, especially everybody from Holbrook. It was really nice to see the environment.” He went on to say that “I wasn’t really concerned about making a thousand points. I knew that it was going to come eventually.”

Everybody was on their feet after Jeremiah’s outstanding accomplishment especially Coach Gifford who handed him a trophy for his achievement. Coach Gifford expressed his gratitude for Jeremiah and enthusiastically explained how Jeremiah King works hard every day to improve himself as a player. Coach Gifford also said, “He has developed as a point guard. He sees the floor much better. He’s always been a great defender.”
