On February 20th, 2017 the Holbrook Bulldogs defeated Scared Heart. Other teams had also lost in the bracket, which lead the Bulldogs to winning the league championship. As a result, Holbrook will be getting a banner for the school. They have not won a banner since the 2012-2013 season. With  the new school being finished next school year, winning this banner was important, as this will be a good memory to remember the school by, and the banner will hang in the new school.

Varsity basketball coach, Mr. Gifford said:” It was a good feeling to win, I am proud of my players and what they have done,  as we are going into the new school next year, we will be able to put up a new banner in the gym”. The players hard work had paid off as they were able to win.
