Coach Gifford Wins his 400th game

Coach Richard Gifford won his 400th career game tonight, by a score of 62-43. In the game against Diman, the Holbrook varsity players were eager to win for their coach. In the first quarter it started off a little sluggish, but as the game went on the pace picked up. The second quarter is when things started to pick up, and the Bulldogs ended the first half on a good note. From the third quarter to the end of it is when the varsity players showed that they were ready to compete, taking an insurmountable lead of almostĀ 20 points. Finally in the 4th quarter they continued the intensity with their defense and passing, andĀ Coach Gifford was able to get his 400th win.
After the game, Coach Gifford was presented an award to commemorate his accomplishment, and he celebrated with current and former players.
